With more than 10 years of teaching experience, Cynthia is not only a well respected teacher, she is also a well-known performer who is frequently seen on stage across the Greater Toronto Area.  She has combined her talent with hardwork as she started to practice Guzheng/Zither when she was 7 years old.  After studying for more than 20 years, Cynthia has successfully developed her own distinctive performance style.

Her performance has been quoted as being "skillful, with a soft yet brilliant timbre combined with an exquisite expression".  Whether she's performing traditional pieces or modern songs with complicated techniques, she's always been able to deliver the exact message of the original music feature to her audiences.

Her relentless persistence also brought her to the world stage as she was invited to perform for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and numerous appearances on China's largest television network, CCTV’s programs.
